For nearly 26 years, The Village Craft Market has been part of the heart and soul of Douglasdale. Founded by Alan Gibbon in 2001, our family-owned and run store was one of the first businesses to open at Douglasdale Shopping Centre. What started as a little shop filled with unique crafts and curiosities has grown into a much-loved community staple and home to an ever-changing collection of gifts, crafts, treasures and local creations.
Over the years, we’ve watched trends come and go, welcomed countless local crafters and vendors through our doors, and turned many regular customers into friends. Known for our friendly team, incredible variety and wonderfully unexpected finds, we’ve always aimed to offer an experience you simply can’t find anywhere else.
From supporting local creators to getting involved in community clean-up initiatives, The Village Craft Market is proud to be part of the Douglasdale community, and incredibly grateful to every crafter, vendor, customer and friend who has made our little store what it is today.
